Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck your load fills. Here's the full breakdown, including the cases where volume pricing doesn't apply.
Load sizes
The standard ranges

What the price includes
- Two crew members, or more on larger jobs at no extra rate
- All labour and loading, including from upstairs, basements and back gardens
- Disassembly where a piece won't fit through a doorway
- Hauling and disposal fees
- Sorting for donation and recycling
- Sweeping the space afterwards
What changes the price
- Volume. The main driver, and the only one on most residential jobs.
- Weight, on inert material. Concrete, dirt, brick, tile, roofing and paving are priced per ton because transfer stations charge by weight. A quarter-load of concrete weighs more than a full load of furniture.
- Access, on specific jobs. Hot tubs, pianos, safes and anything needing to come down external stairs. Ordinary house stairs don't carry a surcharge.
- Special handling. Refrigerant recovery is built into appliance pricing rather than added. Suspected bed bugs change the disposal route.
What doesn't change the price
- Which metro city you're in — Aurora costs the same as Denver
- Which floor you're on, within reason
- Whether you've sorted beforehand
- Time of day, on standard weekday slots
Heavy material, priced by weight
If your load is mostly concrete, dirt, brick, tile, asphalt or roofing, volume pricing is the wrong unit and we'll quote per ton instead. We'll tell you which applies when you describe the job — it's not a surprise that appears at the end.
Commercial and recurring work
Contractor accounts, property-management turnover and recurring commercial pickups run on account with monthly invoicing rather than job-by-job payment. Rates are negotiated on volume and frequency. Get in touch to set one up.
