Spas are heavy, waterlogged and usually wedged somewhere awkward. We drain it, disconnect it, cut it into pieces that fit through the gate, and take the whole thing away in one visit.

What's involved
Draining
A full spa holds several hundred gallons and weighs far more than the shell alone. If it's still full, draining is the first step and takes 45 minutes to a couple of hours depending on the pump. Starting the drain the night before saves everyone a wait.
Disconnecting
Most tubs are hardwired to a dedicated circuit. Power gets shut at the breaker and the connection separated safely before anything moves. If your setup looks unusual, mention it — occasionally an electrician is the right call and we'll say so.
Breaking it down
An intact shell rarely fits through a standard gate, and carrying one whole down stairs isn't realistic. We cut the shell into sections on site. It's loud for a while, and it's the fastest path to having it gone.
What moves the price
Access is the single biggest factor — a tub ten feet from a driveway is a different job from one behind a locked side yard with two feet of clearance. After that: whether it's still full, how much decking has to come apart, stairs, and whether the concrete pad underneath is staying.

Can you take a tub that still works?
Yes, though a genuinely working spa is worth trying to sell or give away first. If nobody takes it, we'll haul it.
Do I need to drain it first?
Not required, but it helps. Draining on site adds time to the visit and can affect the quote.
Will you damage the deck or yard?
We lay protection on finished surfaces. Where a tub is built into decking, some boards have to come up — we'll show you which before cutting.
How long does it take?
A straightforward ground-level removal runs two to three hours. Deck-integrated tubs can take most of a day.
