What's involved
How we approach it
The first pass is yours, not ours. We walk the property with whoever's handling the estate and mark what's staying — documents, photographs, anything with a name on it. Then we clear the rest. If something turns up mid-job that looks like it matters, we stop and ask rather than assume.
Working with realtors and executors
Plenty of these jobs run against a closing date. We can work to a deadline, coordinate with a realtor or estate attorney, and provide a written itemised receipt for estate records where that's needed.
Donation
Estate properties usually produce a lot of genuinely usable furniture, kitchenware and clothing. Most families would rather it went somewhere useful. We route what we can to donation partners and can provide donation receipts where the partner issues them.
Hoarding situations
These need more time, more people and sometimes cleaning beyond hauling. We'll say honestly whether it's within what we do or whether a specialist remediation company should handle it first.
